Here is the card I made with Cute Animal Trio from Hero Arts, and I used the "King for A Day" sentiment from Craftin Desert Divas. I followed a sketch that was on The Outlawz. I can use this as a Birthday or Father's Day card.
I colored the images with Prismacolor pencils and a Sakura gel pen. The second image has all three pieces of rik-rac border; forgot it in the first pic.
I made this card to give to a boy with cancer that was mentioned on a post on Facebook. For his 16th birthday, he wanted lots of birthday cards. I can't imagine being so young and so sick. He has Leukemia, so I am praying that he is healed!
I used a hedgie image from Bugaboo, some orange dots and some paper from a CTMH insert. The orangy/yellow paper is from a Close To My Heart insert. I took a lot of my stamps out of the plastic cases and re-homed them in different storage, so I had a lot of the inserts leftover. I couldn't stand to throw out such pretty papers, so I cut a strip off and used it on my card. I also used coloring pencils, gel pens and glitter pens. This was fun to color!
