Project using image from Imagine That Digi Stamps by Kris

Here is the project I made using this image from Imagine That Digi Stamps by Kris.  I made it to go into my Project Life pages.  I'm thinking about putting pics on that page of the kitties in different pics that feature them looking like they are helping me clean; ie, laying in the clothe's hamper etc...

The sentiment is from Ginger's House.
Hope you like it.  I was thrilled that I was able to make something today, as I have been sick so much.  Halfway through coloring, I was sick and had to lay down for a good bit, but was able to finish it tonight.  I need to clean house, as I'm behind, but I also think I needed some creative therapy to make me feel happier.

Card Drive for Great Cause

Here is a link to the Cards for Little Hearts Drive.    They are collecting winter/holiday cards for children.

Please visit their blog for more details and guidelines.  The drive ends August 25th, so that gives us a little time to get some made!  :)

Here's a few pics of my little tree that I had up for Christmas.  You can see it has some kitty ornaments on it; of course!

First pages completed in kitty scrap album...

Here are the first pages I finished in the kitty scrap album; featuring my Mr. Kitty.  We had him for fifteen years!  He was the first kitty I had as an adult on my own.  We grew a lot together!  He was a wonderful friend and furry companion!  He was a gift from God!

I really like how you can use single stickers and images; they fit the smaller albums so much better than the large scrapbook pages.  Works great when you only have a small amount of somehing or just a tiny pic or two.

Kitty Scrap Album...

Making this album out of things I already have.  The pages themselves came from a 31 booklet that was given to me.  I covered the pages with scrap paper and used my cricut to make the tabs.  Made the outer cover out of poster board and a cat calendar from 2008.
Put black metal eyelets in the holes and covered the metal rings with ribbon.    Used washi tape on the corners of the cover.

Finally using my cricut for something; making tabs!

This is the back cover; also from the same cat calendar.
In the darker pic, you can tell that the pages have a heavier canvas-type quality.  They are much heavier than the thinner style calendar pages.  The calendar was a gift from a friend.  It has several images I'd like to frame.

I have more pages made, but had to pull some out, as it made it too thick.  Will save them for the next scrappy book.
