Our Story

Hello.  Hope life is treating you well!  Just wanted to share a page I made using the image from Kathy A. (the Vikings images) from The Outlawz March Progressive Challenge.  I've evidently got it in too late, as the linky as closed.  They must be hours ahead of us, as it was about 5:30 P.M. on today the 31st when I went to the site, but no biggie.  I will enter it into another category, and it helped inspire me to get started on the Crush book I've been wanting to do for hubby and I.  So very thankful for that; I needed the motivation to get started!  I've been wanting to document our life together, and how we got started.  I have so many little tidbits; notes he gave me at work (That's where we met; we worked at the same place), pictures and other memorabillia.  So glad I got my first page done.  Now, I need to start back on my cat book too! lol..

Here is what the CTMH Crush book looks like.

And a funny to brighten your day!

More Snowmen...

Nothing says Spring like snowmen!  lol..  I just work on whatever I'm inspired to do.  The stamp set "A Scarf for Three" by Stephanie Fizer was making me want to use it on kraft colored card stock.  I enjoyed coloring this image with coloring pencils.  I also used Avery Elle stitched rectangles, a white gel pen, Impression Obsession black pigment ink, and a piece of my embroidery floss to make my card.  I was also inspired to use a lot of blue, as the word "blue" is used in The Outlawz's Song and Rhyme Challenge.  I hope you like my card.

A Scarf For Three...

Hello.  I hope life is treating you well!  I wanted to share a card I made with the stamp set " A Scarf for Three" by Stephanie Fizer.  I had all of the other details about the card I made written down, but ask me where I put it!  lol...Story of my life, DER!  lol...  I know I used colored pencils, Impression Obsession Black hyrid ink and Avery Elle Stitched Rectangles along with a couple of other dies and a white gel pen.  If I come across my note somewhere, I'll try to remember to update this post.

I did enjoy coloring this image, and I like the contrast it made with the kraft cardstock.  I hope you like my card.
