A Thank you card...

Hi.  Hope today finds you well!  Here is a card I made using the stamp set "Bunny Lovin'" from Virginia Turtle.  I used the die sets Simon Says Stamp Nested Banners and Spellbinder's Labels #8.  I used my Prismacolor colored pencils and ribbon and papers from my stash.  I made this into an A6 sized card.

Flying By To Say Hi...

Hope everyone is well and having a great day!  Here is a card I made with the Outlawz Progressive October image "Planes" by Cara. I love the swirly clouds and paper planes.  They go perfectly with another stamp set that I have Lawn Fawn's "Flying By".  I used water and inks to smoosh the background, along with the following supplies.

  • Digi image "Planes"by Cara
  • Lawn Fawn "Flying By" stamp set
  • CTMH Simple Stitches stamp set
  • Recollections Planner Occasions stickers (corners)
  • One Heart One Mind Art Deco Doo Dads Rub-ons
  • Fishtail Banner dies
  • Aquamarine alcohol marker
  • Dots made with hole punch, card stock, dry embossing stylus and mat
  • Smooshed stamp ink background

Fancy Pants

Hi.  Hope today is finding you well!  I worked on a card today and was able to actually get it finished!  Whoo Hoo!

I used this stamp, "Diva Hopper" by House Mouse.  I coated it with Aleene's Tack It Over and Over to store it in a cd case.

So I used this stamp, Spellbinder's Nestabilities Circle dies, Chevron dies, bow die, Recollections Hobo paper pad, Copic and Spectrum Noir alcohol markers, Prismacolor pencils, a friend die cut (from my stash), and plenty of scrap paper pieces that I used the Chevron die to cut.  I used an aqua/teal card base from The Paper Studio.  This was a fun card to make, and as always, the kitties helped!  Thank you for looking at my card!

Another Tiger...

Hello.  Here is another card I made using the Stamp "The Courageous Tiger" from For the Love of Stamping by Hunky Dory.  I was testing out different black inks, so I stamped out multiples with this stamp.  I water colored the image.  I guess I was in the mood to make animal cards!  :)

Peaceful Pandas

Hello again!  Made another card using a different stamp from "For the Love of Stamps by Honkydory". This stamp is called "Peaceful Pandas".  This card was also water colored.  I made this card especially for my niece's birthday, as she loves Pandas!  I hope you like my card!

Heaven got a very special angel...

Heaven got a very special angel on May 21st, 2024.  We lost our baby P.J..  We think he was around fifteen.  He made it almost a year after starting to have the spells he had.  I don't know why it has taken me so long to post this; I guess it just wasn't easy.  He was one of the best cats we'd ever had.  He was my little Pooh Bear.  We went ahead that day and made the decision, as he wasn't eating, drinking or using the litter box. That part seemed to happen fast.  We think he was starting to shut down, and we didn't want him to suffer.  It was hard, because he fussed some on the way and at the vets, and it broke my heart.  The vet and the tech told us we did the right thing.  We don't have emergency vets in our city anymore, so you can't take them in after hours. It went smoothly and very quickly; the vet said he was ready to go.  He had told us he was dehydrated, etc..  We buried him just a little ways a way from where Smokey is buried.  We buried him with some of his toys that he loved.  I still need to order him a marker.  I'm thinking I'll order one for Smokey too, as the marker that is at his spot doesn't have his name on it.

I'll have to share in another post P.J.'s story and some of our memories.  He was so vocal and quite the character at times, but also so sweet!!!  I sometimes called him a gentle giant.
