Gingerbread Cookies and Cocoa

Hello.  Here is my card featuring the image from Imagine That Digis By Kris called Gingerbread Cookies and Cocoa.  I enjoyed making this card.  It was fun to color.  This was the image from the December Progressive Challenge.  I hope you like my card.  I used Crayola Blending markers, Letraset Promarkers, Prismacolor pencils, Scrapbook.com glitter pen, dies from KS Craft, and a sentiment sticker from Heidi Swapp.

Poems I wrote for my kitties...

 The Life Of A Cat

Squeaky meows,
Addicted to can food,
Begging for treats,
Lap up water,
Jump in the litter box,
Digging to China,
Warm lap to lay on,
Head boops and kitty kisses,
Kitty goes out, kitty comes in
Kitty goes out, kitty comes in,
Time for dinn dinn,
Wrestle together and play with toy Mousie,
Night time crazies,
Warm, cozy cuddles,
Sleepy kitty dreams,
My gifts from God.

Here is another poem:
Why is the hooman so slow with my food,
Reduced to eating dry,
Stare until they move,
Pop of the can,
Here I come.

Recycled Cd Cases

Hello.  Hope your day is going well!

I don't know about you, but it always seems like we have things we need to find a use for.  One of the things recently was cd cases.  They had been left over after transferring cds from regular cases to the slim cases.  I had a bunch to use.  Fortunately, a poster on YouTube had just the project for them!  So I cannot take credit for this idea.  How To Recycle CD cases

Well, after the use of glue sticks, the cases and the inserts, here is what I made.  Each one uses seventeen cases, and I made four sets, so I was able to keep 68 cases out of a landfill, and it gave me awesome storage for my markers and ink pads.  I used the inserts on the backs to help make it a little sturdier and prevent the markers and such from falling out of the back.  Each one used six insert trays, so I was able to use 24 insert trays.  I hope you like them, and that it gives you ideas on ways to reuse things you have.  Simon Says Stamp had the perfect challenge; Recycle.
